Google Business Profile Roles Explained
Google now has three main roles for managing your business profile:
Primary Owner

Manager
Each level comes with its own set of privileges and responsibilities.
Primary Owner
The Primary Owner is the main person in charge of the Google Business Profile. Only one person can have this status. The primary owner can add or remove other owners and managers, transfer ownership, and access every feature. If you are the person who initially claimed or set up the business listing, you are likely the primary owner.
Owner
You can have multiple Owners for a business profile. Owners have almost all the same abilities as the primary owner. They can edit info, add posts, respond to reviews, and manage products and services. However, they cannot remove the primary owner or transfer primary ownership themselves.
Manager
Managers can perform most day-to-day tasks, including editing business details, posting updates, and responding to reviews. However, they cannot add or remove users, delete the business profile, or transfer ownership. This level is perfect for a staff member or marketing partner who handles your local SEO or online updates.
