A virtual tour was shot at this BMW and Honda motorcycle dealership in Kariong NSW in December 2017 as a part of the process in optimising their Google My Business profile.
The focus for this Google Street View virtual tour was to help people get a better understanding of what they would be able to experience by going to the motorcycle dealership in person. Part of creating a realistic feel to the virtual tour photography was to include people in it.
With that in mind, I organised to have the virtual tour shoot day be on a Saturday morning that coincided with one of their customer appreciation and enthusiast days. It was a great turnout with over 30 participants starting off from Worthington Motorcycles that morning. The event was led by Brad Worthington, the dealer principal.
The images that included the clients and riders were used on Facebook as a pre-promotion bonus.
This virtual tour photography session required a total of 22 360° photos to complete the full experience and is published directly to the Worthington Motorcycles Google My Business page which can be found on Google Search, Google Maps, Google Street View and Google Earth.
Since publishing this virtual tour, as at today (August 14th 2020), the images are reported to have over 60,000 views with a median weekly view of over 500 views per week.
It goes without saying that having a fully optimised Google My Business page, including a virtual tour created by A Google Street View Trusted Photographer can truly help people see inside your business.
