Virtual Tours for Cafés and Restaurants
Virtual tours for cafes and restaurants are probably the place where 360° photos are most used. That should come as no surprise when we consider just how important it is to us to know that ambiance really matters.
The most distinct difference you will find with these virtual tours (at least with the ones I create) is that you're less likely to see a lot of people in them. As it would turn out, it's actually easier to get a sense of what a particular table you might book would be like if it's clear and free of people.
In almost all my other virtual tours, I highly encourage adding people to the scene, but not in this case. Virtual tours for cafes and restaurants are also more often seen natively on their Google Business Profile. This doesn't mean that a custom virtual tour isn't worth it. It simply means that a Google Business Profile of a café or restaurant without a virtual tour just seems like it's missing something.
In fact, I've even had event planners tell me they won't even consider a café or restaurant as a possible place to suggest to their clients unless it has a virtual tour that's up-to-date and thoroughly shows the space. It's literally part of their planning toolkit.
So if you'd like to learn more about how you can add a Google Street View virtual tour for your café or restaurant, contact me for a no obligation walkthrough where I'll be able to give you 'on the spot' pricing and shoot planning.
